My dear Ethan,
In your last letter, you wanted to know about my country Bangladesh. Your interest about my country really charmed me.
Not so long ago, our country got independence in 1971 after a nine-month long bloody war against Pakistan. Ours is the small country but it is full of natural beauty and resources. It is an agricultural and riverine country. Most of the people are farmers. So, their life, lifestyle and activities around livelihood are built up centering round the village along the bank of the rivers. People of different religions, castes and colors live here in company with others. Sunder bans, Cox’s Bazar and Rangamati are exclusively beautiful tourist sites in the country. People are simple-minded and hospitable. Our country is progressing rapidly day by day.
