Dear Saad,
You know annual sports competition of our school was held on 25 January. Today I’m going to share the day’s events with you. Really it was fantastic.
The day’s first session started at 8 a.m. The chairman of our school inaugurated the day. The school building, playground and surroundings were decorated colourfully. A stage was built at the east end of the playground. The sports events started at 9 a.m. High jump, long jump, athletics, skipping, chair-sitting, discus-throwing, ball throwing, cock- fight, sack race etc were the different events of the day. It was a day of joy and fun. Hundreds of spectators enjoyed the day. The most attractive event was ‘Dress as you like’ in which some were showing strange performance wearing peculiar dresses. I took part in three events and came out second in two.
The DEO was the chief guest. In the last session at 4 p.m. he distributed prizes among the winners. At 6:30, the function came to an end.
The day was a day of amusement. Please let me know about the sports day of your school.
