Dear Muhin,
As I’m free today, I’m going to share with you about the sweet events of the International Mother Language Day that we observed in our school last week.
Since three days ago, we began to decorate our school building, surroundings and the Shaheed Minar with paint, color paper, festoon and poster. On the first hour of 21st February, we placed wreath of flowers at the foot of Shaheed Minar in honor of our language martyrs. Early in the morning, students and teachers of our school took part in morning procession. A discussion meeting was also held in our school auditorium highlighting the importance of the day. The local MP, the local political leaders, the respectable persons of the society attended the meeting. A cultural function was also held. I presented a patriotic song in the function.
I passed a jolly day that day and enjoyed it very much. This day will remain fresh in my mind for a long time.
