Imran: Oh, it’s a reality, Fahad. This is a clear picture of unemployment problem in our country.
Fahad: Not only in our country, friend. Unemployment is a worldwide problem, especially, in the third world countries.
Imran: Then, are we going to be unemployed after completing our studies?
Fahad: Hope for the best and get prepared for the worst.
Imran: Right. What do you think are the causes of unemployment?
Fahad: Number one—over population. Besides, unwilling to self-employment and fascination of educated youths to comfortable official jobs are the two strong reasons.
Imran: All are right. But one more point—our country is agro-based not industrialized. So, few posts are created every year to provide jobs for too many ever-growing people.
Fahad: Correct! It seems that population has turned into a curse.
Imran: I don’t think so, Fahad. There are also some countries which need manpower. If we can manage to export manpower, this problem can be lessened to some extent.
Fahad: And if the government can create opportunities for self-employment and raise awareness of it, unemployment problem can be solved on a large scale.
Imran: Then, shouldn’t we get ourselves prepared from now on to ensure a decent job?
Fahad: Of course.
Imran: Thank you for your valuable information.

Sunil : Hello Rajesh, your poultry farm seems to be growing day by day.
Rajesh: Yes Sunil, it is the result of my earnest efforts for a long time.
Sunil : By the by, can you tell me why you have started poultry business though you are an educated person?
Rajesh: You know how acute unemployment problem in our country is. Here, about a hundred of applicants apply against a vacant post. If I ran after comfortable job, I could still remain unemployed and could not earn so much money.
Sunil : Really you are intelligent. Why unemployment problem is acute in our country, Rajesh?
Rajesh: It’s a worldwide problem, Sunil. In our country ever-growing population is the main factor. Few employment opportunities are created that cannot provide job for the expanding population.
