Dialogue between you and your friend about greenhouse effect
SAMPLE-1
Suppose you are Hakim. You are shortly going to appear at a job test. But you can’t understand about greenhouse effect well. One of your friends is iqbal who is quite aware of it. Now,
Write a dialogue between you and your friend about greenhouse effect
Suggested answer:
A dialogue between myself (Hakim) and my friend (Iqbal) about greenhouse effect—
Hakim: Hello Iqbql, I know you’re quite aware of the greenhouse effect. Would you explain it to me, please? You know my job test is ahead.
Iqbal : Sure, Hakim. It is a process in which sun’s heat is trapped in the atmosphere caused by gases like carbon dioxide, CFC, water vapor, methane etc.
Hakim: Who is responsible for this?
Iqbal : It is man who is responsible for this but creates negative effects on all human, animals and plants.
Hakim: How does man create greenhouse effect?
Iqbal : Especially by destroying forests at random. Besides, he is releasing carbon dioxide and other harmful gases in the atmosphere by emitting smoke from motor vehicles, mills and factories and thus creating greenhouse effect.
Hakim: Serious! What’s the result of greenhouse effect?
Iqbal : Greenhouse effect results in global warming that causes changes in climate around the world. This can destroy or damage wildlife, cause untimely flood, cyclones, drought, and tsunami. Sea level may rise for which coastal low land areas may go under water.
Hakim: Oh, I see nobody is free from these terrible effects.
Iqbal : Sure, Hakim. If man can’t prevent greenhouse effect, the earth will turn into a dangerous place for mankind.
Hakim: How can man prevent greenhouse effect? Is it by planting more and more trees?
Iqbal : Of course; and by reducing emission of greenhouse gases.
Hakim: Thank you Iqbal. I’ve learnt about a very important term from you. I’m grateful to you.
Iqbal : Don’t mention it.
SAMPLE-2
Suppose you are Rahul. One of your friends is Sejan. Once you were walking through the road. You noticed that, though the winter season had set in, it was too hot nowadays. Sejan commented that it was the result of climate change all over the world. Now,
Write a dialogue between you and your friend about the result of greenhouse effect
Suggested answer:
A dialogue between myself (Rahul) and my friend (Sejan) about greenhouse effect—
Rahul: Rahul let’s sit under that tree and take a rest.
Sejan: Let’s, Rahul. I’m also tired.
Rahul: Do you notice, Sejan, it is already winter season but nowhere is cold. Even night can’t be passed without fan.
Sejan: It’s the result of worldwide climate change, Rahul, which results from greenhouse effects.
Rahul: Greenhouse effect! You’ve pointed to a very important thing. I hear about it here and there. But, could you clearly explain to me what greenhouse effect is?
Sejan: Sure, Rahul. It is a process in which sun’s heat is trapped in the atmosphere caused by gases like carbon dioxide, CFC, water vapor, methane, nitrous oxide etc.
Rahul: What happens when heat is trapped?
Sejan: It’s very easy. The average temperature of the world increases which is called global warming. And it results in climate change throughout the world.
Rahul: Oh, I see. I was in a fix about these terms. And we know climate change results in destruction of wildlife, frequent and untimely flood, cyclones, drought, tsunami etc.
Sejan: It may also reduce mankind’s ability to grow food, cause sea level rising for which coastal low land areas may go under water.
Rahul: Dangerous! I’m afraid mankind may fall in ultimate disaster.
Sejan: Remember Rahul; men are responsible for greenhouse effect and it is men who can avoid this danger.
Rahul: How?
Sejan: If man reduces emitting these harmful gases, and plant more and more trees, the total atmosphere may get rebalanced. And thus the world can be saved.
Rahul: Oh, Sejan, long time has passed by. Let’s walk.
Sejan: Let’s.
