Dear Sir,
We, the students of your college, most humbly draw your kind attention to the fact that it has been raining torrentially all through the day today since last night. Weather forecast says there is signal no- 9 at the sea-ports. In this situation most of the students are absent in the college and those who have reached college somehow have got drenched. Some are trembling with cold. So, it is all but impossible for us to continue classes. So, it is very necessary to suspend the classes for today.
Therefore, considering foul rainy weather we hope that your honor would kindly suspend the classes and declare this day a rainy-day holiday.
