Sir,
I, on behalf of the students of our college, beg most respectfully to draw your kind attention to the fact that we have a common room in our college but it is not furnished with modern facilities. We do not have much scope of enjoyment and entertainment during off periods. For this, it is very essential to provide materials for indoor games such as carom, chess, table tennis etc. Besides, there is no TV set and computer with internet facility here what is very essential to keep up-to-date with the modern information, education, knowledge and recreation. We also need an English daily and a number of magazines to be supplied on regular basis.
Moreover, sitting arrangement is not sufficient. We are also badly in need of facility for pure drinking water. Two more ceiling fans should be set up.
We, therefore, pray that your honor would be gracious enough to consider our problems heartily and take urgent step to upgrade our common room to a modern one.
