Sir,
We, the students of your school, beg most respectfully to inform you that ours is one of the most famous schools in Dhaka city. We have a reputation in different co- curricular activities. But there is no literary club in our school. Many students of our school hold literary intellect. In different cultural functions, they perform excellently reciting their self-composed poems and rhymes. But we don’t have any scope to practice literature in want of a literary club. As a result our students cannot be well-prepared to take part in different literary contests. If a literary club is set up, students will be able to flourish their literary talent by exchanging their views, thoughts and ideas with one another.
We, therefore, pray and hope that you would kindly take effective measures to set up a literacy club in our school and pave the way to practicing literature.
